Defying the expectations of more than 50 residents packed into their regular meeting, the Logan City Council voted against a contract that would have locked the city into purchasing fossil fuels for the next three decades.
While other cities sign on, Logan is the only one to reject a costly fossil fuel energy contract
The Logan City Council voted against a $300 million power sales contract with a natural gas plant in Idaho, following strong opposition from residents who urged a shift toward renewable energy.

I used to think that when global warming truly began to bite, deniers would face reality & we could act. Now I think it's more likely it will lead to a kind of fascism that will respond to global warming by, like, executing everyone who says global warming is real.
