i don't know why but seeing this specific setup in a platforming challenge made me flashback to path of pain

as much as hollow knight's boss runbacks are annoying, silksong remedies them (somewhat) by having a movement system that is so, so much more fun to tinker with
after enough deaths, there's a little consolation in getting smooth ass movement like this
