I've always been pretty social media minimal, and in this present moment I don't know if the solution to things is more social media. But I don't want to lose touch with people, so here I am.

I just woke up from a dream where I was complaining to friends that I wanted to use social media less. I got a lecture on using block lists and the block button liberally. I think everyone can take that lesson.

We must must must resist the idea that generative AI is inevitable. It is not inevitable. People don't really like it. It doesn't do its job well. It removes the humanity from one of the most human-forward things. Not to mention it is an environmental nightmare. Keep banging the drum. Say no to AI.
