If you've received a sizable government grant to repair the sewer line connection to your house, are you allowed to be a council member trashing the idea of boosting rental assistance citing your skepticism of the effectiveness of government programs? Feels wrong.

Chughtai, in wide eyed wonder at what she's hearing, responds to idea that the undeserving will exploit rental assistance: if you have income at the level of minimum wage, couldn't pay your rent for whatever reason, and you've been served an eviction notice, you're by definition a person in need.

Wonsley: please submit your evidence of rental assistance fraud to county government across the street, otherwise "consider joining the MAGA movement."
