I really enjoyed participating in the Cycling & Society symposium at @glasgowcaledonian.bsky.social this week. I managed to get a photo of @ficrawford.bsky.social presenting our paper looking at how different impairments affect people’s participation in cycling.

I'm remotely attending the "Rethinking Accessibility: Insights from Transport Data Science" event at University of Exeter this morning. @rafa-vdz.bsky.social and I are presenting some of our ongoing work of producing public transport accessibility indicators at the @ubdc.bsky.social.

Our new paper is now out in the Journal of Transport Geography. We use Space Syntax measures (along with other factors) to look at what sorts of routes cyclists using Strava choose.
