If I was working in Cold War history right now, I’d be inclined to download as much as possible from the post 1960 FRUS, The Wilson Center, the CIA Reading Room, the Presidential Libraries, the DOE OpenNet, etc.

A month ago I said download documents while you can. Get your FRUS documents now, because there is no reason to believe the Historical Office isn’t next.
Trump is eliminating Wilson Center, a stellar US foreign policy study establishment. Along with it goes the Kennan Institute - one of the best Russia study institutions.
