My summer in books. Some better than others, and maybe a few more 'we've fecked the world' than is strictly healthy. But some great ones too. I had never read Slaugterhouse five before, but it was a great read. And Adrian Tchaikovsky never disappoints. Service Model was amusing. #BookSky

Intrigued by the phrasing 'end of year' reports. Is this when these go out for some year groups?
I have ones to complete at various times of the year depending on year group (one per year) giving guidance on mocks or options.

Watched the moon set over Arran this morning. 😊

Internal truancy is such a major issue. Pupils in school, but not in class. Becomes a vicious circle of kids missing content so when they do come in to a lesson, they struggle with the work and vote to leave again. Makes it difficult to build up a relationship too. #TeacherTapp

Transformers have invaded my Lego street and honestly the scale works well. #Transformers #Lego

My favourite type of musical Christmas toy is the one whose batteries are running down.

My latest read. Thoroughly enjoyed this, discussing the progression of N, S, E, W from pure directions to embodying ideas.
The final section on the moving blue dot really struck a chord, as I miss the days of physical maps, even as I enjoy exploring the world on Google Earth.
