Me: I'm sure there's some phrases I use a lot in the classroom.
My dear sweet son: 'Folks'. You say, 'all right folks' a lot. People asked me if you called us folks at home too.
Me: thanks

My summer in books. Some better than others, and maybe a few more 'we've fecked the world' than is strictly healthy. But some great ones too. I had never read Slaugterhouse five before, but it was a great read. And Adrian Tchaikovsky never disappoints. Service Model was amusing. #BookSky

Internal truancy is such a major issue. Pupils in school, but not in class. Becomes a vicious circle of kids missing content so when they do come in to a lesson, they struggle with the work and vote to leave again. Makes it difficult to build up a relationship too. #TeacherTapp
