Though I'm not Catholic, I always found Pope Francis' humility and grace inspiring. May his reasonable approach to grace and agape love continue well beyond his passing. #popefrancis #lovethyneighbornoexceptions

Thank you @booker.senate.gov for engaging in nonviolent direct action today & speaking truth to power. May your words guide your colleagues & all of us to act with agape love for our neighbors. #nonviolence #lovethyneighbornoexceptions #hope

I'd prefer if everyone would include and respect my friends, but if that's too difficult to manage at least leave them be. #transrightsarehumanrights #lovethyneighbornoexception #lgbtqia

I'm not #catholic, but this letter from #popefrancis to bishops in the #unitedstates resonated deeply with me.

We must recognize the dignity of every human being without exception.

This line from "Thin Skin" by Jenn Shapland shook me. I can't help but wonder how much this phenomenon is driving what's happening in my country.

Looking forward to #quaker meeting for worship this morning. Thankful for my tiny, unprogrammed meeting for the time & space to mind the Light, especially when things are so frightening and confusing.

Finished this book a few days ago and it was really profound. Shapland explores US history, environmental justice, queerness, and chronic illness from and autobiographical and conversational perspective. It's beefy but worth it. #booksky #queerauthors #environmentaljustice

Lots of love to New England Yearly Meeting - I found this quote very impactful.

Bayard Rustin was one of #mlk 's advisors and was the principal organizer of the 1963 March on Washington for Jobs & Freedom. He was a #quaker and #queer.

2/3/1964 - about 461,361 students and teachers in the NY city public school system boycotted school to protest de facto (non-legislated but still present) segregation and poor conditions in the schools. De facto segregation persists in NYC schools today. #blackhistorymonth #blackhistory365
