No mention of R B Cunninghame Graham. Arguably the first ‘Labour MP’ though elected as a Liberal in 1886. He is perfect for Origin Story, a true eccentric and omnipresent figure in Victorian cultural and political life.

A couple of things to note.
Good to see you emphasise the Scottish role in Labour history.
MacDonald did represent a Scottish constituency: he was MP for the Scottish Universities from 1936 to his death.
