Like facts, my values didn't change because an irredeemable garbage baby won a popularity contest. I won't stop being clear-headed and focused on what matters, regardless of how thick the rolling fog of ignorance is. When it clears, I won't be ashamed of my actions when I thought nobody was looking.

There is no reasonable, articulable conflict of interest for two members of the same legal team to both be disqualified over a personal relationship. Further, that was an issue for the trial judge to decide and it did. The appellate court in Georgia sets a terrible precedent. Cannon-like cowardice.

Between billionaires dictating legislation through social media and the next President promising to prosecute his political enemies by loading the Justice department and courts with Toadies, it's really hard not to be incensed with half of my fellow Americans. Have the next four years you deserve.

I learned my Star Trek obsessed coworker was real life Sheldon Coopered by Will Wheaton when she made me stop listening to John Scalzi's "Redshirts" at the office. Let go of those petty grudges people, life is too short to stay mad at Will Wheaton. Book is hilarious by the way.

I recently wrote a post about installing a dishwasher and rewarded myself with a "You're the Best" by Joe Esposito. I unfortunately have to confess right afterwards I began unsuccessfully trying to fix a Power Wheel. I must not be the best around because something is keeping me down. Sigh.

I cherish every moment with my kids but I can't wait until they're old enough to handle a few shadow people so that I can start my haunted/cursed doll collection.

I successfully installed my new dishwasher and it actually works! I'm still expecting a disaster but for now I'll take the victory. This calls for:
