When we lead with kindness, we create cultures where everyone feels valued, supported, and connected. Research proves that kindness fuels engagement, reduces stress, and fosters belonging—so why wouldn’t we make it the foundation?

💡 Lead with it.
💡 Live by it.

Schools and districts don’t go from good to great without kindness—and you don’t need a title to lead. Leadership isn’t just about strategy; it’s about connection.

A3: incorporate moments of kindness and gratitude that involve our space, environment, and nature. Being intentional to create those experiences for our students learning. #buildHOPEedu
A3 We can plan talks with local governments about how waste is recylced, educate communities on recycling, community gardens, public cleanups, etc. In schools, students can find ways to reduce waste, to make more ecological choices. Every day, there is an opportunity to learn & act.

A2: bring learning to life and get kids outside. Every time we can get them out of the box it sparks innovation and creativity plus helps them see the healing power of nature and how it’s good for us #buildHOPEedu
A2 In ELA we can read texts about nature, reports about how we can change trajectories; In math we can calculate building composts, In history, study the history of planned obselescence, in geography, the environment impacts of our lifestyle. We can bring so much into our learning.

A1: our kids are active members of society and it takes all of us to make this place a thriving and healthy space for all. They need to be informed so they take informed action. #buildHOPEedu
Q1 Why is it important to talk about the environment with our students today?

Loneliness isn’t just being alone—it’s feeling disconnected. 1 in 10 students have no friends. 50% of teens feel lonely. It’s as harmful as smoking 15 cigarettes a day. But there’s hope: kindness, connection, and trust can change lives. Let’s chat. I am ready to help you!

A4: I have a hope for connection. I think this will help with the loneliness issue as we deepen & foster in person connections. 1/10 kids say they’re friendless - 50% say they’re lonely. It’s equivalent to smoking 15 cigarettes a day! I have hope for kids to foster friends & kindness! #buildHOPEedu
A4 I hope that education systems really find a priority in giving students & staff support for mental health & in keeping balance in their lives. It is one thing to say it, it is another to create a system that believes it, supports it, and talks candidly about it. Be the difference.

A3: adults are the dealers of hope & belief. Create spaces & allow them to connect, be scientists, solve problems, & goal set. Be the facilitator of learning & allow the students to do heavy lifting. Then celebrate their growth & progress. Use failures as a way to learn & grow. #buildHOPEedu
Q3 How can we help students dream, HOPE, and never lose focus?

#BuildHOPEedu

A2: I prioritize and balance. I ensure there’s a work-life balance! I have a journal that I write in a ton! I keep an online calendar. And I also listen to my body — when it feels good and when it’s time to step back and reset. Exercising and mindset too! 20 min walk can reset us! #buildHOPEedu
Q2 How do you stay focused on what is important in your life?
