Mammouth irony as Musk seeks fraud at CMS - Philip Esformes was convicted in 2019 for one of the largest healthcare fraud schemes in U.S. history, involving over $1 billion in fraudulent claims. In December 2020, Trump commuted Esformes' prison sentence, though his conviction remained intact.
