I am once again begging people to Shiny Happy People (documentary).

I'm not saying all these guys my age were recruited via Teen Mania, specifically. But the far right's funding of what essentially amounts to an "army of God's warriors," from the Great Society era onwards, is well documented.

I'll take the longer one soon, but in only 3 minutes, this was my score. One qrpng answer was about Sweden, one was an honest to goodness misread/misunderstanding of the answer options.

But, yes, as a disabled and immunocompromised person, I *have* read A LOT of COVID research.

I know everything is shit, but these past two weeks, I've gotten to take one of my loves to one of the places I love, and it's been a blessing and a balm.

I was searching for some vintage clothes today, and saw that we’re calling early 2000s Y2K, just in general, now. 😩

Soon, I’ll be inviting experts of all kinds for a paid two-day intensive workshop/public symposium in the feminist history, philosophy, and sociology of health-science-knowledge.

This seems to be a very common thread in most moral and identitarian panics (including surrounding immigrants and jobs, poor folks and social services, disabled people and accommodations, Black excellence of literally any kind).

I'm no Kleinian psychoanalyst, but, something something projection...

Today, I went to Rooms To Go with my 65yo mother wearing this bag. As we were leaving, Dwayne--the very nice guy helping my mom--said, "excuse me... what's your bag say?" And I turned around, looked him gay in the eye, and said, "oh, you know what it says," and walked out the door. 🫡😎🫳🏼

Virginia Commonwealth University—a so-called 21st century institution and MSI with >50% minoritized students—BOV officially votes to dissolve the University’s Division of Inclusive Excellence.

Will be reviewing programs, policies, offices/units, and more in the coming weeks to “ensure compliance."
