I used to watch United when we got relegated in 1974. The big difference between then & now is the players played off the cuff more. The game was simple.. knock it out to the 2 wingers who’d put crosses in for the 2 strikers or incoming AMF players. LESS confusing instructions from manager/coaches.

Leaving for home on Thursday evening. Mrs D has two fully packed cases by the front door.. one pair of shorts & one t-shirt to last me for over 4 days. Every time we go away it’s the same old story.. panic a week before we leave..🙄 often think is it worth going away for a week of extreme stress.

Been in Australia for just over 3 weeks now..the weather’s not the best considering it’s supposed to be summer but very impressed with the multicultural ethnic group getting along with each other. There are so many different cultures, much more than in the UK & all appears fine.

I’m in Australia for what should be their summer & got to admit it feels more like Manchester on a cold wet January weekend. Went to bed in a woolly beanie hat & thick bed socks for the last two nights.. the relative I’m staying with is too thrifty to switch on the **#++y heating🤧

It’s supposed to be summer in Australia yet it feels colder than Manchester in the winter with the wind & rain..very nice scenery but not the best weather..

Had to listen to the United Spurs game on MUTV commentary. As soon as Spurs equalised, I thought we’d do the usual & collapse.. however great credit by the lads to score a late late equaliser. Our home form is very good now but we need to work on winning away from home.. on an upward curve though!👏

I feel for from confident about today’s game away at Spurs. We’ve not played well there for a long time. I’d be very happy with a draw but I predict a defeat by a couple of goals. Yes, I’m pessimistic but got to be realistic occasionally. We’d beat them at home but our away form is still iffy.

Can you believe it.. it’s freezing cold, wet & windy here in Melbourne. We’ve got the heating on full blast but feeling a bit on the cold side..🙄

Judges should never be appointed by any governmental/political entity. It's a fatal flaw in the American system. In the UK the Judiciary has absolutely nothing to do with the political system.

I think a thing we'll learn tonight is that people fucking hate what is going on and they will straight ticket vote against anyone involved in starving people while pillaging the country and kidnapping their neighbors. I don't think it matters at all who that person is.

Hot & sweaty on arrival at the hotel. Feels a bit pretentious on first viewing though could be because I’m sticky, dirty, tired & drenched with sweat when others are dressed up for a night on the town..
