Here's a quite large pastel drawing done sitting on the river bank at Byron's Pool, Trumpington Cambridge. Byron is said to have swum here. Perhaps his anarchic spirit was at work.

I love to paint lighthouses. They’re typically protecting boats from a dangerous coastline, so you’ll find them set in some truly stunning locations. It’s fun to pair this one with some dramatic and colorful clouds. I hope you enjoy!
