Anyone in #TeamMassSpec know of a good citation for what usual proteomics reagents/items are removed in speedvac drying? I know the 'usual' rules but looking for something with numbers/measurements/real examination, without luck.

Those in #TeamMassSpec doing single cell/low input work, what micro well plates do you like to use? 96 or 384. Seems like there's a great variety and possible impact on performance, but doesn't get mentioned for space.

#TeamMassSpec can anyone help me with an item I know I saw but can't find? It was an old pipette tip/sinilar and had a non-binding fitting at the bottom, so it could hold beads and then do a spin elution. Am I going crazy or did this exist?
Any help appreciated!

USHUPO was a bit more lighthearted, but I still think #asms2025 needs an award for best poster pun. Some great ones out there!

#ASMS2025 #teammassspec Swag competition has begun for this year...

1st entry: pink cowboy hat from Cellenion (leftover Texas cons?)

2nd: clear bag for summer festivals from MassDynamics. Lots of reusable bags, niche for security at the upcoming Wiggles tour.

Judge will be my 5yo on Thurs!

These are truly unprecedented times for science, & I know several community members facing job loses. It would be incredibly helpful for those hiring in proteomics to post to our US HUPO job board so we can help our colleagues find new positions.

Study sections are the review panels that allocate NIH research grants. They bring in experts from around the country and have to be scheduled many months in advance; they provide the funds that keep the nation's biomedical research going.

It's hard to overstate the disruption this causes.
All NIH study sections canceled indefinitely. This will halt science and devastate research budgets in universities.
