Calling all First Nations Australian authors!

I'm taking pitches for Bundyi Publishing, either in person in Hobart, 22 and 23 August, or online.

I'd love to hear from those writing romance but happy to hear any commerical fiction ideas & non-fiction.

Today marks the 81st anniversary of the Cowra Breakout. My novel BARBED WIRE AND CHERRY BLOSSOMS is my contribution to telling the story of Wiradyuri people in Cowra at that time, and remembering our men who went to war too!

Had an incredible 24hrs at the Southern Highlands Writer's Festival with thanks to Michaela Bolzan and her team of volunteers, Lisa Forest for driving me here and there, Blanche D'Alpuget and all the gorgeous humans who came along with open hearts and minds to talk truth telling and rodeo research.

The Bangalaru office is also holding a GBS. I love that.

I hope more corporates follow your lead. 🖤 💛 ❤️

NAIDOC WEEK HIGHLIGHT

Listening to two phenomenal women - Prof Jackie Huggins AM FAHA & Cheryl Leavy, as they discussed Jackie's career in publishing, NFPs, academia, Reconciliation + more. The yarn was a gift as the audience was showered with warmth from the afternoon sun at UQ Sun Stadium.
