Exactly. If they really wanted qualified health professionals to provide health advice, their algorithm would prioritise our content over influencers. But it's just about money and popularity. They don't want to correct the misinformation and harm they are doing.

As a psych trained in Canada and practicing now in UK, I see this and find it professionally alienating. Clin psychs here seem to be akin to Counselling psychology stances on diagnosis in North America. Also lots of non evidence based practice by many clin psychs here which is surprising
