If you're a survivor of narcissistic abuse or bullying, yesterday's Oval Office disaster may have looked familiar or was upsetting to you. Please know that you're not alone and you saw what you saw.

We're seeing gaslighting, coercive control, and DARVO on a national stage. The patterns are clear.

Hoping that those who are waiting on study sections and research awards will have more answers soon. This could have massive effects on folks' careers if this is dragged out. Not to mention the greater effects on the general public if research can't get done.

I have these moments i occasionally have on replay. Situations that involved social mistakes prior to my autism diagnosis. I wish I could apologize to so many people for my perceived insensitivity. I think if I had known more about myself at the time, maybe I could have made better choices. 🧵

The culture of academia breeds lateral bullying that is overlooked. I've dealt with at least two bullies. In the second case, she was removed because of student complaints. How she treated me would have been a tougher case. I was planning to leave if she had stayed.

That there are people who legitimately think that we just labeled flu cases as Covid cases in 2020 is boggling to me. Nevermind the fact that from 2021, flu cases rebounded and grew every subsequent year.
