I've just watched the delightfully weird 'The Gourmet', after listening to the latest episode from @backlisted.bsky.social on Kazuo Ishiguro's 'The Unconsoled'. It stars Charles Gray, no less, of Blofeld fame, and written by Sir Kazuo. Bamboozled by it all, and loved every part

One of the things I often enjoyed best was revision. Pupils have been taught the content, and now we can have a final push to prepare for the actual race. Limber up and stretch those muscles.

In case you haven't seen it, Young Americans live on TV, with Luther keeping his arrangement TIGHT with his background singers. "I heard the news today, oh boy." He looks so happy here, in full blossom. youtu.be/ydLcs4VrjZQ?...

As we relax into 2025 and reflect upon the sins of yesterday what could be more gratifying than Poet Laureate Simon Armitage and I discussing trout and poetry. 😎
