Oh yeah, skeets show up without any block as long as they have some likes. I feel it's great but it can be a little overwhelming at first

Thankfully, this happened before during the first time everyone fled here, and the strategies described here (don't engage, block) worked really well. They can't settle here if we don't give engagement.

Like, keeping codes to ourselves is NOT gonna stop them. Blue sky had an email system for a while, so any who got in are definitely farming codes for their friends. Better to be unwelcoming to them and make sure the mods can do their jobs

As others have pointed out, a mod team with real humans who know what they're doing is a great start. Let's face it, these guys will show up (especially once the site opens) so better for the team to be experienced in this kinda stuff.

Either way, let's not pretend donkeys don't already have buddies farming codes here, and that the last time they tried to make a "home" here, we made them unwelcome. I see no reason we couldn't make them unwelcome again, regardless if they get in again.

I do understand wanting her to use a more controlled method (I'd use DMs personally) but this does seem just like finding the new "target" that we saw all the time in Twitter, as many have pointed out they did the same, but magically Lauren is the only one "accountable"

Like, I see the nuance. I can see why we need more "normal" people to be an audience, and why we also need to be careful on who we're inviting. I DON'T see the point of deciding to mass mob

Oh, no, I understand using literal text is bad. Pictures seem to be working as protection though. Is she using pictures, or not? Cause that's about the only thing I'd "correct" here

Except Lauren is a locked account. So I don't see how someone who (hopefully) didn't let any donkeys follow them is gonna "bring over the right-wingers".

Not to mention, I don't KNOW the people who just reply or like, but they are just as important and should be given codes too! Artists and creators without an audience can't grow!

And it can't just be your buddies either. I have like 5 people I really trust to personally give out a code to, but I'm aware that the people following me are decent (and I doubt people looking at me are right-wingers) and should be given opportunity to join!
