This is a short, narrative driven game similar to Florence. It’s not fun, it’s frustrating and unsettling and that’s the whole point of it.
Literally sobbing when I reached the end. Pure art. Another 10/10 🌟

6 hours in and I have stuff to say about Age of Imprisonment 👾
Despite the boost in graphics and performance, I’m liking it less than Age of Calamity.
1. I played Dynasty Warriors Origins in May & that game is much superior in every way—specially the combat, the progression systems, and map.

It’s definitely bigger than it needs to be. Take the city hub for instance—maybe it’s designed to make you feel small but that leads to a lot of useless walking around and a feeling of emptiness. I wish we’d had simple, short levels like the first 2 areas. I liked those.

I really wanted to like this game but I don’t 🙃
It has a lot of heart, the writing is excellent and it has great social commentary.
But the combat is too simplistic and the level design uninspiring yet frustrating.
Maybe I was overhyped. 7/10?

Phantasy Star may not be too obscure but in Brazil the Master System was massive and it was the first RPG to be localized. Legit the game that made me a gamer and I still play the SEGA Ages version every couple of years 👾

Rolled credits for BALL x PIT 🏀🕳️
This one is intriguing; it surely is addictive—I played it non stop for 2 days. But it does feel like a numbers-go-up game; the video game equivalent of doom scrolling.
I do like the Actraiser-like city building part a lot.
I’d give it an 8/10?
