Some modifications that I think makes it more reasonable. You don't have infinite maneuvers, you have 12, and they're tiered in different points and usage amounts.

Basically going through every larp I've played in the last 5 years and finding a list of generic effects. "Duration" and "Range" are defaulted, everything can be modified. I'm liking this so far.

I'm drafting up some new larp rules. This is the same larp where I've rewritten combat rules a dozen times now, and this one seems like a possible winner. I've got the non-combat rules down pretty solid (items, exploring, research, etc etc) and combat isn't a big focus, but this is a good balance.

Going in for jury duty tomorrow. "Where should I get lunch while I'm there?" I wonder. Apparently the answer is NOWHERE within walking distance. I can zoom out and drive places but. Wow. Not even a hot dog stand.

I offered a little bit of salami to Meaghan (as a treat). She has never wanted anything to do with it before, and the same thing happened today. Then another cat came up and sniffed at it. IMMEDIATELY Meg needed to actually eat the salami. And now... she hungers.
