I stopped using Pinterest a while ago, it was just becoming so increasingly cumbersome and their anti-nudity blockers have become way too overzealous in taking down anatomical references. I went back to just saving references to my own drives.

Dang, I’m sorry.

Fish deserve more respect and care. Humane issues aside, I can’t also help but think about how much extra loss this represents. Each of those salmon themselves were carnivores who were being fed protein, often fish meal from wild caught fish. All wasted now for nothing.

My gosh, any idea what caused the septum to deviate in the first place?

I hope it stays forever. Pretty sure if anyone ever wipes that down they’ll receive a curse.

Too cool, what an amazing collection

Resigning yourself to only asking nicely is the same as giving consent for continued abuse. What will you actually DO?

Am I missing something with these polls? I never see them actually available to participate in anywhere.

I miss long-snouted tails and sharp-toothed knuckles

What camera and lens do you like to use? These look great!

Yeah, pinned the wings down so they dried in an open position. And the feet dried great too so I have some nice scale ref now. Just need a shadowbox to put everything in.

I imagine you’d have to drive a species to near extinction, and then constantly be working to maintain that artificially low population, before you’d see measurable results at a single sampled beach.

It seems like a predictable outcome if you think about it, marine life wanders the globe, and the oceans are all interconnected. Killed wildlife in one small location is (if the oceans are healthy) repopulated from elsewhere. Nature abhors a vacuum and refills empty niches.

Reminds me of the folks who don’t understand Starship Troopers (film not book) and the game Helldivers which is influenced by it are satirical. Humanity is the villain in both. Apparently, though to me they come across as comedically on-the-nose, it’s still too subtle for others.

Haven’t bought anything from Razer in quite a while. I’m sure I can keep that momentum going for the foreseeable future.

This is so disappointing. I don't understand what is even the point of this for an artist like Gurney, who could so easily quickly draw this better himself. It doesn't even look like him.

A weird roundabout way of them saying they want to wind down and eventually sunset Comicon.....
