Channukah reminds us to celebrate the courage of resistance of the unsung heroes and sheroes. On a personal level tonight I’ll pay tribute to my mother & her best friend who both fled Nazi Germany as children and gave so much to others despite the hardship they endured in their early lives. 2/3

Thank you! Sadly Maya has now been diagnosed with a rather aggressive mast cell tumour. She came home from hospital yesterday. I’m taking her back tomorrow for first session of chemo 😢
