The difficulty is that the EHRC guidance must be consistent with the law as determined by the Supreme Court judgment. Whether this is unpalatable is irrelevant. Campaigners opposed to the law as it stands need Parliament to amend the relevant legislation
I have come to the conclusion the EHRC guidance on single sex spaces should not even come to Parliament. It is misleading and has caused distress for my trans constituents.

I urge @bphillipsonMP to reject it on grounds of practicality and human rights.
