Health is more than doctor visits. It’s shaped by income, housing, education, support, and access to care. Economic hardship can increase stress and limit resources—raising youth risk for substance use. #SocialDeterminantsOfHealth #YouthSubstanceUse #HealthEquity #SupportYouth

Cannabis is legal, but it’s not risk-free. Public health policies like product labeling, advertising restrictions, and youth protections support informed use and reduce harm. These policies are about care, not control.

Just a little FYI from my office.
Did you know? DAWN tracks substance-related ER visits to guide public health efforts. Between Jan 2023–Aug 2024, new drug street names emerged in the data. Staying informed is crucial for prevention, intervention, and safety. 💡

Naloxone saves lives—literally!

But don’t let the heat 🔥 (or cold ❄) ruin its magic. Store it at room temp (36-77°F) and be ready to act when it matters most.

Carry Naloxone, carry hope! 🪷
