Doesn’t it matter how intelligent the monster is and how good a fighter/tactician? Random attacks hardly seems like a satisfying challenge in most cases. Not sure of the reasoning here.

As much as I think the films are a triumph, I still prefer the books. That said, I think Jackson’s choice to move Boromir’s death, Merry & Pippin’s kidnapping, and Aragorn & co starting the chase into Fellowship is superior.

I do wish RotK had more endings. For real. Scouring of the Shire is a crucial bookend. (Tho clearly I understand why it had to be cut from the film).

It might help that I actually enjoy game prep and usually do a little bit everyday, even if just 10 minutes.
