I'm not sure what's saddest about this - the obsession with comics and superheroes, or the fact they blocked replies.

I think Democrats are calling this wrong, as usual. ICE are the equivalent of Hitler's SA - his brown shirts or stormtroopers. They're a paramilitary force that's practising on immigrants before they're applied to anyone who opposes Trump/Project 2025.

What's a book that you re-read every few years? Aside from Vonnegut and 1984, this is one for me. One of the best 'first contact' books I've ever read. It's always stayed with me. Surprised a film has never been made out of it.

Another underrated and misunderstood film. A loving and witty tribute to those old Edgar Rice Burroughs-style films of the early 20th century. Ernie Hudson is brilliant in it.
