Cervical cancer mortality in US women younger than 25 years significantly declined between 2016 and 2021, likely due to the widespread adoption of HPV vaccination.

The vaccine against HPV significantly reduced the incidence of #cervicalca, esp when offered to kids at younger ages (12-13).
Having treated - & borne witness to - women dying of cervical cancer, I cannot begin to tell you what a scientific achievement this is.
