Unfortunately, Bluesky is unavailable in Mississippi right now, due to a new state law that requires age verification for all users.
While intended for child safety, we think this law poses broader challenges & creates significant barriers that limit free speech & harm smaller platforms like ours.

With legal challenges to this law pending, we cannot justify building the expensive required infrastructure.
For now, we have made the difficult decision to block access in Mississippi.

Well. Haven't been on this daily, but from what I've observed. This behaves just like any other social media propaganda curation zone. Just this one appears to be the blue echo chamber. Honestly, anything to keep people from forming solidarity and demanding changes needed.

Real question: how does that address better supporting underlying issues (social welfare, healthcare, & infrastructure)?
Those three are neglected badly, and undermine economic health. Yet are necessary for our capitalist systems health.
