I was never a fan of LotR because of the black and white characters. But then RoP came along with amazing complexity. Sauron never lied to Galadriel, and in doing so, he seems to be the only one who truly values her vigor. She, in turn, used him to meet her ends. He left her a hint to the Southlands

I have just bought a concert ticket, and attending this gig will require crossing pretty much all of Germany from South to North. Now I have a year to work out how to do this. I suspect if you intend to travel so far with the national train service you may vanish in a wormhole for good.

I am deeply impressed by #ANONYMOUS. Framed by a prologue / epilogue, presenting the plot as a play within a play / film ->"The Mousetrap", plus puns on elements from HAMLET make this very enjoyable. And I hope we can all agree that the plot twists are not that far from #Shakespeare 's own.

I am still not sure what to make of this. I admire the approach of a serious topic, but they follow a trend I observe in many social media posts, which is aimed at mental wellbeing. They also did a series of related postings and videos. Any thoughts on this?

The chess page I occasionally use offers Halloween themed bots now. I only tested one so far, but it was pretty funny, making a reference to a Stephen King novel, which really made my day. I love when things have a bit extra, and add references to literature just for the fun of it.

I had intended to set up a new blog, and failed miserably due to the new conditions. Apparently I cannot change the site anymore without paying for a theme. I do not bother about designs and colours, but I cannot even add categories. So, basically, the new free package is downright useless.
