Tomatoes did really well in it. But it gave the pests cover to eat anything I grew cuz to keep it not 150F in there I had to leave the door open. -7/10, don't buy.

Growing season here was wonky. Warm at the beginning of May, then it got cold through mid June, then blistering hot mid June through August. Rained a lot in June/July. End of Aug until now has been unseasonally cold. Fall temps in Aug.

Calcium Magnesium + compost tea stopped the blossom rot for me.

Onions. Planted 75, 2 actually got to a decent size. 73 of them didn't grow much bigger than the bulb start. 3rd year trying to grow onions. Maybe next year. 🤷‍♂️🥲

Unfortunately highly doubtful. As long as POC are suffering more than they are, they will welcome the boot crushing them, complain but will continue to vote R.

I pan fried tomatoes, red onion, and a bell pepper for 15-20 mins on medium heat until the skins started to fall off. Put everything in a blender with roasted salt & herbs, cilantro, lime juice, pepper, garlic and a dash of paprika. Blended. Tastes amazing. Should have done this sooner! 🤔

Blossom rot got 1/2 the tomatoes. Still more good ones on the vine.

Spiced up the sauce and ready to can. Sauce tastes really good but this might be too much work for our home kitchen.

Now on to making salsa with the cherry/Sungold/patio/black tomatoes.

We thrifted a food mill. Froze the super sauce tomatoes then 3 sec blanched them to get the skin off. Blanched the ones we didn't freeze. Food milled them twice. Then all the sauce we put into 3 slow cookers. Slow cooked for 24hrs+ until reduced down to 1/2. House smells like tomatoes 🫤.
