Toxic leaders destroy people’s trust in authorities and institutions whose purpose is to protect them so that by being the sole power, people have no choice but to submit.

The current regime is trying to establish a new belief system for America based upon self-interest, wealth, power and control, and total freedom without accountability, defying the rule of law. Yes, a dictatorship. They have abandoned the national values freedom and respect for all people.

Toxic leaders demand loyalty, but are loyal to no one but themselves and will throw anybody under the bus who does not totally submit to them.

Don’t just say DEI as if it’s a bad word. Spell it out.
Say diversity, which is the lifeblood of American society & culture & innovation.
Say equity, which a just society should pursue.
Say inclusion, because decent people believe in increasing belonging, not isolating people who are different.

Toxic leaders acquire power by creating divisions among the people - the favored and the disfavored, the angels and the demons - and catering to the desires of the majority group. They are neither peacemakers nor unifiers. Their idea of unity is total submission.

A toxic person creates chaos so he has a problem to solve and then be seen as the savior, but leaving destruction in his wake.
