Today was Consecration Sunday. We had a local Presbyterian pastor deliver the sermon on giving, turned in our estimated giving budgets for 2026, then dined on smoked brisket. The one Sunday a year we discuss giving and it was pretty good. Our rector will deliver the same talk to the presby church ⚓️

As an old videographer, I can say that those quick camera movements are meant to intentionally manipulate a feeling of tension for the viewer and have nothing to do with the actual content of what is happening.
