Started doing some hobby photography again. iPhone 17 Pro is awesome.
I realized I miss sharing photos online, but X is not good and I hate IG.

So looking for a nice place to do it without being on a lame/dead platform.

Thinking maybe start a Substack (story + photos)?

The most confusing "men's restroom" sign I've ever seen.

In case you didn't get it, it's a urinal on the left.

Working from home is nice, but I am trying to change environment and work somewhere in the city at least once a week.
Those days are usually most productive.

Working from the library with an autumn view today.

Experimenting with the new @YouTube feature that I finally got on my channel.

Published a video with dubbing for the first time.

I'll never understand this.
Digital distribution should bring cost down, not up.

Perfect strategy for reducing your churn from @yandex.

I enabled their food delivery subscription while I was in Minsk. Now I am back to the EU, I can't open any page because it's "not available in my country".

Result: I can't really cancel the subscription!

My first money for the YouTube sponsor integration!

My first experience with adding a sponsored segment. I had offers before, but I never liked the product or the negotiation went nowhere.

Great experience overall!
Thanks @snowballtracker for being my first sponsor.

YouTube polls are super helpful when I can't decide what to prioritize next.

I have a love/hate relationship with video editing.

Sometimes I hit the flow and can't stop. Some days I just can't bring myself to even start, and it feels so dragging.

I need a way to control it!

I finally got A/B/C testing for titles (in addition to thumbnails).

Probably the most useful update in the last few years.

I've never added the product to your platform, but thanks?..

Another video - done. Will be live today 🚀

Turned out quite a personal story about my decision of quitting my job and how I have been doing since then. Also, I am doing an ad integration for the first time.

Started Sunday with a walk in the nice autumn forest near the house.

Best Mac quick action ever. When you download a lot of photos from the Photos app (.HEIC), it saves so much time.

Reddit is so bad at any smart algorithm-based things.

When the whole world is switching to AI, they're sending UK monarchy news to a person who never was active on any UK-related topics or subreddits, or read the news posts for that matter 😂

I still love you @Reddit 😅

I just learned that the Dutch use trash bins for voting ballots because when they introduced electronic voting, they got rid of boxes.

Then, when they realized that electronic voting could be manipulated and it got banned, they had to come up with a solution quickly. It stuck.

The most satisfying part of product development is setting up jobs so your robots can perform tasks like data collection, or database population, while you sleep or focus on other things.

Google more and more shows Reddit search results on the first page, and Reddit is looking more and more like Google.

Maybe it's time to join forces, guys?

Been using a new iPhone 17 Pro for a month, and it's absolutely amazing.

Especially the camera, the jump from my old iPhone 13 is insane. Finally got the true portable camera comparable in quality to my Lumix (LOG+ProRes ❤️).

120Hz, battery, performance, design are awesome too.

YouTube has finally enabled the multi-audiotrack feature on my channel! 🎉 Excited to try it out with the new uploads.

The timing is perfect too, as I've decided to focus on my English channel and pause my native language one. Managing two channels is too time consuming.

Can't figure out what I think of the new YouTube controls.

First, I thought my zoom settings were at 150%. They feel like a jump back to the UI/UX from 10 years ago.

On the other side, they are always visible (Hey Apple!) and quite convenient to click on. Maybe it all that matters.

After using Atlas for a few days, I am switching back to Chrome. It's a really cool idea and it might be the future, but it's not there yet.

Also, it's a clunky product, so using it as simply a browser is a bit of a pain.

I'll be keeping my eye on it.

My big October road trip is over! Traveled 3445 km from Holland to Lithuania by car + bus to Minsk.

So tired, need a few days to catch up on sleep and recover. But it was nice to finally see my parents after so many years.

P.S. YouTube video of the trip is coming!
October 24, 2025 at 1:56 PM
Okay, that's disappointing.

I like the summary feature, but what I was hoping for most is that Atlas browser can actually interact with the pages.

Without that, I am not sure it's worth switching to it.
