#Fruita #Colorado Beautiful early fall weekend

Amazing for desert mountain biking. Gratitude for time in nature given the high tensions this year that has so many people on edge.

Cool to see a gal friends I’ve not connected with in mountain biking for many years that were attending #roamfest

We know life gets busy, and it's easy to forget to close the garage door. But an open garage can signal an easy opportunity for thieves to see what you have inside – tools, bikes, even access to your home. Take a moment to secure your garage. A little vigilance goes a long way!

Ground broken on Arvada Police Honor Garden memorial for fallen officers
After losing two policemen in the line of duty in recent years, the Arvada Police Foundation is working to honor its fallen officers by building the Arvada Police Honor Garden in Memorial Park. Ground was broken on the garden on April 24 — which is expected to be completed next spring, ideally in time for Peace Officers Memorial Day on May 15, 2026 — at a ceremony that included Arvada Police Chief Ed Brady giving remarks alongside family members of officers who have passed away.
