Hello Cambridge, nice to be back! Feels like a slightly different country - lots of investment in tech and biotech around the edges of the city. Great cycle infra, as per.

Can I just say as something of a watch nerd, the new U.K. railway clock is great. Really stands out in the visual clutter, lovely detail on the logo seconds. The kind of design that makes you glad to be home when coming from abroad.

The world is a tough place at the moment. I feel lucky to be able to get out and rest in calm places. Just look at this awesome bike in its natural habitat (and yes, some kids too).

Lord McColl on my side, apparently.

Made a draft logo for the team with @metoffice.bsky.social accent colours. Thought it was appropriate to use an LLM. Any thoughts?

Here’s @edhawkins.org drawing a very clear line between our observations of the world, climate change, and increased flood risk in Northern Europe. Great to have him visit the @metoffice.bsky.social

Climate change will get worse until we hit net zero.

Climate change is caused by humans.

Hey Aurora folk, take it from an old climate hand - you may want to re-think the word "trick" in a climate paper ;)
