We've got air conditioning, which helps a lot. The basement is also really cool, which helps. Plus we run away to the mountains, which is often less intense, heat-wise.

We'll be looking at similar, if not hotter temps than that this weekend. Probably a less oppressive heat, but still 🥵

Lot the challenge of trying to figure out what something is like that. I spent most of summer trying to figure out a beaver skeleton once.

I know some folks at field & stream. Possibly REI, as well. In fact, I think I know a guy at outdoor life, too.

One of my first hints that my daughter may have autism was how well she got along with kids who had a diagnosis.

I've always wanted to see one of these. I knew they were around, but could never find them growing up. Found tons of red back salamanders, but never the spotted ones.
Guess I should have been looking deeper underground for them.
