I can go through pretty much the entire south and tell you that they're broke and rely on a lot of welfare from the government. This man has been vocal on our behalf for such a long time, and it is important that we don't let his voice be long. Activate your local communities, support local food banks, support unions, get workers protections on the ballot, And boycott anyone who lobbies against human rights.
Working class Americans live 6 years shorter lives than the wealthy. Doctors believe economic stress is a major factor in that disparity.

I asked Americans to describe how stress impacts their lives & well-being. The responses were heartbreaking.

The reality of our social, political and, economic system is that they are shared mythology - and mythologies can be rewritten. Concepts which would equitably benefit all exist, and those who oppose them do so only for the sake of personal gain.

We must speak with our money, and with our ballots.
In the wealthiest nation on earth, 25% of seniors should not be living on $15,000 a year or less.

We should EXPAND Social Security, not cut it. I will soon be introducing legislation to significantly raise Social Security benefits and extend the solvency of the program.
