Celtics, Cowboys, and other randomness
Especially if it’s Pittsburgh.

Unless Charlotte is taking over I’m not convinced it gets any better with his boys in charge.

Cowboys were appropriately flagged though.

I would love for them to trade for Dak Prescott so my guy can get at least one more legitimate shot at a Super Bowl. I don’t want to see his whole career wasted.

Schotty played himself. 2nd and whatever it would have been with two timeouts and a stopped clock would have been the best way to get 4 the ball back with time to work with. Then the defense lol.
January 4, 2026 at 7:25 PM
Oh of course not. Being up two scores already with that defense is probably enough to make none of it matter in the vast majority of scenarios. If it were a 3 point lead instead of 10 I’d raise concerns but it wasn’t.

The combination of the 7 seed in each conference has added to the meh about today too. There’s an alternate universe that Buffalo, Houston and LAC are playing for their playoff lives today while Denver, NE, Jacksonville, Philly and Chicago are all fighting for a bye.

I’m a Cowboys fan and I don’t even want to watch them.

*making the kick puts you up 13 and the benefit is it would mean it would take two TDs to lose. In this case that would mean SF recovering an onside kick and then connecting on a hail mary pass. If you’re up 10, SF would more likely play for the tie after an onside kick and you’d have a chance in OT
January 4, 2026 at 11:25 AM
The math I’m referring to would say you’re better off trying for the long yard because

1) you might get it to end the game
2) making the field goal gives you little benefit*
3) missing the go gives SF the ball on the 3, choosing the penalty and missing the kick gives it to them on the 20.

*His antiquated…

idk why I’m incapable of not having a typo when I reply to a post basically ever.

Going purely off Troy’s broadcasts, he antiquated idea of how the game should be played has me totally content that he’s getting his opportunity elsewhere; however, I 100% support of the idea that Will has earned the opportunity to fully run football operations.

I’d rather this dude play below average QB for a team that I don’t care about into his 70s than listen to him talk for 5 minutes.
January 1, 2026 at 7:38 PM
It should be a 16 team with no byes anyway.
