Pete, thanks, yeah I didn’t want to go down the rabbit hole of how it functions differently in different examples. I probably should just call it a “7” chord but some OCD corner of my brain thinks that’s ambiguous with a minor or major or major-minor seventh; so I think *dominant* seventh.
