Thinking about this made me realize how few movies I've watched this year. A shameful display! I have to say probably Sinners and Michael Mann's Thief. Thief was just an ultra-distilled 80s "rain-soaked streets and sodium vapor lights" mood. It almost didn't need a story for me.

It doesn't matter how popular or successful the "underrated" thing/person is. I've read someone call "Citizen Kane" underrated. You know, that movie that's often discussed as the greatest of all time? Apparently, underrated. At this point I'm really hoping everyone's just a bot.
