Tbh I think uncharted territory, not just UK but whole world with what social media (and maybe Covid/lockdown) has done to brains. Agree feels pre revolutionary, but no coherent 'revolutionary' change in means of production or even decision making emerging, all this happening parallel with ....

Yeah, chasing the 'mind rot' crowd on Twitter/Facebook... hopefully one day they'll look over their shoulders and see they've left most of their erstwhile supporters behind, but it hasnt happened yet

And have you noticed a big uptick in “benefits” stories at the moment?
Probably completely unrelated(🤔) to the fact we’ve had the longest run with no small boat crossings for 2 years, and the latest immigration stats are down at pre-pandemic levels…
They’ve gotta find a scapegoat somewhere🙄
