Thursday 18/9 Tarporley high street. A frail old lady on a walking frame falls while crossing the road. A barbershop of “men” and numerous passers by ignore her. The only people to help are an 8 month pregnant woman and a tiny school girl. Pitiful. Tarporley hang your fucking head!

I wonder if crime stats for all England apart from London went down over the weekend or if A &E admissions dropped or domestic violence was reduced or if those little balaclava clad boys on electric bikes wondered why they were having a slow day? Would love to know the statistics.

Astonishing news. After a drs appointment last month I’m down for a hip replacement op within weeks! No messing. Didn’t expect that. I’d expected to wait up to 4 years. Maybe voting labour wasn’t a bad idea after all.

Heading over to Whistlebitch well in the forest later with the dogs. I’ve not been for ages. Time for a revisit. Must remember to take a bottle so I can bring some of the healing water home. Not sure how clean it is by modern standards. So might just use it to water my houseplants.

New bathroom all signed off. The challenge is to keep all the grout from getting grey and dingy. I’m very pleased with the work.
