This pitcher at my grandma's memory care facility is full of delicious lemon water, but it quickly gets plugged by a lemon slice so you never get much. It's like a palate cleanser!

We had a little deck rehab job where the previous contractor's waterproof membrane under the tile failed. Our sub who did the demo fucked up and cut the drainage mat too close to the tile and they may have damaged the new membrane. Our foreman was there and knew the specs and still directed wrong!

Found some cool German menthol cigarettes run over in front of my driveway. I've never heard of this brand and I used to smoke! Maybe with the menthol ban in California, stuff is coming far and wide on the black market. I wonder why the original owner threw them away?

It's gonna be a good day of grilling! Orange marinade for the jumbo shrimp and mint and sage lamb skewers. I'm also trying out this "Ukrainian egg salad" that uses cream cheese instead of mayonnaise. Will report back!
