My Great Auntie Bella (on my mum's side) used to babysit for us. She would bring Kitkats. It was about 1960 and there wasn't much money around. I didn't know what they were and thought she made them. I'd take the paper off and try to get it back on the same way. I thought she was a genius.

My ancestors had some great names: e.g. Euphemia Ballantyne; Unity Hyett, Felix Gunn. My favourite is Esther Ferry, who after she died was misnamed on the family grave - due no doubt to her Donegal accent - as Easter Fairry. I love these quirky names. Please tell me more.
