Playing RE2 remake for the first time. Among all the more obvious political commentary and dystopian elements, the thing that stands out to me is that the Raccoon City Police Station used to be an art museum. Tossing aside a rich, storied culture to make sure the people don't "step out of line"

Something I feel very mixed about is the mountain of merchandise for Peanuts. On one hand I think it undermines when Charlie Brown talks about depression and his self esteem and gets a little too real. On the other hand I would totally use a Snoopy mug

My favorite class I took in college was a comics workshop. It was graded on participation (as all art classes should be) and we just got together and made comics with simple creative goals for each one. Meeting in person for it was great, then the pandemic happened mid semester and ruined it

I really need to just make a typeface of my own handwriting already. I get so bored doing anything in my art that isn't character line art, and I can't be bothered to clean up my handwritten words every single time.

Feels stupid for all these websites to start implementing censorship and hurdles in the name of supposedly protecting children just for YouTube to suggest I watch Freddy Got Fingered right then and there
