One of the problems is we sometimes have to fight against the "opposition," as well as Trump. In my liberal, blue bastion state, Dems are currently putting forward a bill to ban masks. The little bit of energy I have left after teaching all day is going towards fighting that.

Besides, it ignores the very real harm the blue side is doing to people as well. I'm immunocompromised and I have to fight back a proposed mask ban in my blue bastion.

Given that much of the population has immunity theft from COVID, isn't it much more likely to take off now than it would have been in 2018, for instance?
Likewise, given the widespread disdain for masks, doesn't that increase likelihood?

I still do 🙋‍♀️ At my school, I’m the lone masker (AuraN95), who knows about and uses a CO2 monitor, always turns on my two air purifiers (highest level) and ventilates my classroom by opening windows/doors. I’ve not been sick for 5 yrs and loving it! Preventing C19 transmission is 100% worth it!
